Through her inspiring talk, Ms Ruhaanika Dhawan has been the epitome of resilience in the ‘glamorous’ world of the film industry. Her talk meticulously takes us through the endeavours that she battled while being in the limelight since the tender age of 5. Ms Dhawan's fame stems from her perseverance in the face of daily disheartening rejections, as she continuously learns to overcome them. Ms Dhawan began her acting debut with ‘Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein’ on Indian TV. She later featured Ruhi/Pihu Bhalla in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ She holds the title of the ‘Most Popular Child Artiste’ at the Indian Telly Awards and has showcased her brilliant talent in this field by performing in over six TV shows and a special appearance in the 2014 Jai Ho. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
